Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia

A must visit during a house exchange in Croatia Plitvice Lakes National Park ——That is absolutely stunning. The park features a series of cascading turquoise lakes connected by waterfalls and surrounded by lush forests.

Interesting facts: Plitvice Lakes yes Croatia’s oldest and largest national parkfirst announced in 1949 and recognized as Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. The park’s 16 lakes are known for their vibrant colors, which change throughout the day in response to sunlight and minerals in the water.
