Love traveling but find it difficult to organize trips

Friends make everything more fun. Dinners, celebrations, walks, sporting events, concerts. Everything is even more special when you can share it with friends.

The holidays are another time when you make such special memories with your friends. Reminiscing about the years of shared adventures is irreplaceable.

Often, the obstacle to having the perfect vacation with friends is finding the right accommodation. Maybe overpriced accommodation isn’t in someone’s budget this year, or you can’t find a place where everyone can be together but still have their own space.

Before joining HomeExchange, I faced all of these challenges. Providing budget and appropriate accommodations for the people I want to share my adventures with is often an insurmountable challenge.

Home exchange as a solution

I was so relieved when I found out about Home Exchange! In addition to all the benefits for my family, I now get to go on all those incredible trips with the friends of my dreams. Since there are no accommodation costs, budgeting is no longer a big issue. Worries about limited work holidays are even reduced because in the new culture of working from home, it’s possible to do so while enjoying your free time with friends.

In fact, on our first home exchange, we even brought more extended family members with us. I was able to invite my sister-in-law, her husband, and the kids over for a wonderful beach vacation. When we drive, the cost is minimal and cousins ​​can Enjoy beach time in a beautiful house.

I also received a trade request from someone in Rancho Santa Fe, California. I never planned to go to this place but the house and area looked so great so I gathered some friends and we went. Another great memory for all of us.

New Orleans is another unplanned trip, but when you’re offered an incredible apartment in the heart of the French Quarter, you grab your friends and head out. In turn, the owners love our house very much, We had four exchanges in total involving several different friends and family members.

The best way to plan a group trip

There are real benefits for us to spend time with the people we care about, but the cost and difficulty of finding a place to stay often prevents us from taking steps to do so. Since joining HomeExchange, I noticed an increase in the amount of time I spent with the people I cared about. I’m more likely to plan a trip and invite my friends when I know it won’t be a financial burden on any of us. I also noticed that my friends were contacting me with offers to organize another trip because they loved the last trip so much.

Such was the case on a recent trip to Franklin, North Carolina. A friend sent me information about the beautiful waterfalls in the area and said she wanted us all to go see them. So, of course, I hopped on the HomeExchange website and found a place. We had a great weekend together with just the right amount of activity and relaxation.

A recent girls trip to Cape Cod with friends. What an incredible house with beautiful views. We each had a bedroom and plenty of living space where we could spend time together. There is plenty to do in the area, but We also wish we could stay longer and enjoy the house. I know that every time we get together, we will remember this journey.
