1. Select an untreated wood nest

3. Determine the correct direction

• Never install nesting in full sun, full shadows or prevailing winds.
• Direct the flight hole east or southeast and tilt it slightly forward to protect the shelter from bad weather.
• Choose a quiet place, on a wall or tree, far beyond the reach of a cat (such as a cat).
• Install nest boxes with a height of 1.50 to 6 m.
• Avoid fixing it on wet trunks like beech trees.

4. Change the type of nest boxes in the garden

In the garden, remember to change the type of nest boxes (depending on its format and flight hole) and location: on the walls of the house, on the trees, in the trees, in the bushes, and so on.

5. Clean the nest box
